Acceptable use

ScoutKite is for writing one honest, relevant email to a business that might want what you sell. Not for spam. These rules keep it that way for the people who get the emails and for every other customer.
1. What ScoutKite is for
- A first email to a business, about their work, offering something that could genuinely help them.
- One follow-up if they don't answer, and nothing after they say no.
- Sending from a real mailbox, under your real name and business.
2. What is not allowed
- Hiding who you are, pretending to be someone else, or writing as another company.
- Misleading subjects, fake "re:" or "fwd:", false claims, or invented facts about the person.
- Removing the unsubscribe link, or emailing someone again after they unsubscribed or said no.
- Selling or promoting: adult content, gambling, weapons, drugs or medicines, get-rich schemes, crypto or investment offers, loans or debt relief, fake reviews or followers.
- Phishing, malware, asking for passwords or payment details, or anything illegal where you or they are.
- Emailing children, or using what you learn to harass anyone.
- Using several accounts or mailboxes to get around limits or a pause.
3. Limits we watch
Every email carries scoutkite.com links, so one account spamming can hurt everyone's delivery. We check each account's last 7 days. After 20 emails, more than 8% bounces or 5% unsubscribes pauses sending until we've looked at it with you. Healthy accounts sit well below that: under 3% bounces and under 2% unsubscribes.
4. What happens if a rule is broken
Usually: we pause sending and write to you. If it was a mistake, we fix it together and resume. If it was deliberate or keeps happening, we suspend the account. Serious abuse (phishing, fraud, illegal content) is suspended at once.
5. Report abuse
