Rewrite your cold email opener
Paste the first line of your cold email. Get it back opening on one fact about the person, the way replies actually start.
Why most openers don't get a reply
The first line is the preview in their inbox. Most cold emails spend it on the sender: who we are, what we do, how we came across you. The reader decides it's a template before they open it.
Openers that get replies start with them: one specific thing about their business they'll recognise as true, and what it means for their customers. No praise, no pitch, no link.
What the [fact] in brackets is
The tool doesn't know who you're writing to, so it leaves the fact as a fill-in, like [your menu is only a PDF], showing what kind of fact to look for. Spend two minutes on their site and put the real one in. That's the part that gets the reply.
Rules the rewrite follows
- Under 40 words. The opener earns the second line, nothing more.
- A fact they can check, not a compliment they can't.
- None of the phrases that mark an email as a template: "hope this finds you well", "I came across", "quick question", "touch base".
- No talking about yourself first, and no link.
Doing this for fifty people
Finding the fact is the slow part. ScoutKite finds people who published their own email on their own site, reads the site, and writes each first email from one true fact about them. You approve every one; it goes from your own inbox.
